What is the aim of the Health Hack?
The aim of the hackathon is to bring together as much different expertise as possible and develop concrete solutions or ideas for the healthcare sector. You will have access to the appropriate tools and sensors as well as usable data sets (open data) to create these hacks.

Will there be a presentation?
Shortly before the end of the event, the hacks will be presented to an audience and a jury at a public event, which will then select and award prizes to the three best hacks.

I can't program - can I still apply?
Absolutely! The event is aimed at participants with different backgrounds and experience. What counts is your interest in technology and health.

When are the teams formed?
At the beginning of the event you pitch your idea and then the teams are formed.

Who owns the rights to the ideas developed?
The team that develops the idea and a prototype also has the rights to it. We, as the organizers, have no rights to your work.

Will there be prizes?
The main prize is 1000€. Other prizes, let us surprise you.

What are the jury's criteria?
The jury criteria include innovation potential, feasibility of the idea, execution of the idea, design and user experience of the prototype and the presentation of the project.

How is the jury made up?
The jury is made up of our exclusive partners, premium partners and experts.

Will catering be provided?
Of course! Sufficient catering will be provided throughout the event.

Will there be sleeping areas?
Not on our premises. A tip from us: If you need a place to sleep, you will certainly find a cheap offer via Airbnb in Braunschweig.

What should I bring with me?
The only thing you need is your idea, possibly a laptop and, of course, a good mood.

What hardware do we offer?
We are still working on a list of equipment. But we can already say that we will provide a sufficient selection of sensors, controllers and other hardware - if you need something special, please contact us with your requirements.

What data is available to me?
When registering for the hackathon, you can indicate whether and what kind of data you could use for your hack and we will let you know whether we can provide it.

I'm not coming to the event, should I cancel my registration?
Please cancel your registration directly on Eventbrite or contact us so that we can pass on your ticket.
