About us
On October 24th, 2007, the “Haus der Wissenschaft Braunschweig GmbH” was founded as the operating company of the Haus der Wissenschaft. Partners were the City of Braunschweig (via Braunschweig Stadtmarketing GmbH), the Technische Universität Braunschweig (via Itubs GmbH), the Arbeitgeberverband Braunschweig e.V. and the Union Kaufmännischer Verein von 1818 e.V., all of which had already been involved in Stadt der Wissenschaft.
While the partners’ meeting is mainly responsible for business affairs, the elected advisory board accompagnies the thematic work of the Haus der Wissenschaft. A small staff team is responsible for the implementation, which is overseen by the outside management.
