The reconstruction
The Haus der Wissenschaft is settled in the renovated and restructured premises of the former Pedagogic Academy. Besides the modernization of the building’s entire infrastructure, the restaurant “La Cupola” is now accommodated in the 6th floor. The architectonically appealing arch hall is now a place for casual exchange.
The center of the Haus der Wissenschaft is formed by the two seminar rooms with a special atmosphere and the latest technical conference standard. When needed the rooms can be converted into one bigger hall for lectures and large scale meetings.
The ground floor of the Haus der Wissenschaft hosts the Student Service Center of the TU as well as the Bistro Allegretto. Right beside the building the new day-care center of the TU can be found. In the direct vicinity of the Haus der Wissenschaft, the new Center of System Biology will be constructed within the next years.
