The reconstruction
The Haus der Wissenschaft is located in the renovated and restructured premises of the former pedagogic academy.
Two seminar rooms with a special atmosphere and the latest technical conference standard form the centre of the Haus der Wissenschaft. The rooms can be converted into one bigger hall for lectures and large-scale meetings on demand.
The ground floor of the Haus der Wissenschaft hosts the Student Service Centre of the TU as well as the Bistro Allegretto. A new day-care centre of the TU is located right beside the building. Over the course of the next years the new Centre of Systems Biology will be constructed in the direct vicinity of the Haus der Wissenschaft.
Besides the modernization of the building’s entire infrastructure, the restaurant “La Cupola” is now accommodated in the sixth floor. The architectonically appealing arch hall is now a place for informal exchange.
